Huawei has launched its biggest plan to launch the new HarmonyOS 2 operating system on smartphones since its official launch. The update will reach a large number of devices launched over many years.

So far, the update is available on more than 100 million Huawei and Honor devices in China, and it looks like it's currently rolling out more. The company has officially started rolling it out for about 25 devices, including old phones and smart screens.

In addition to the mentioned phones that got this update, Huawei also announced that 9 phones including the Huawei Enjoy 20 5G have started getting public beta testing. Additionally, devices like Huawei nova 8 SE and 8 other tablets have started to start internal beta testing.

In general, the entry into the public beta phase of the operating system HarmonyOS shows that the device has basically completed the adaptation of HarmonyOS for these models. Although there may still be some minor errors, it may not affect daily use.

Huawei has also announced the next batch of open beta testing that includes the Huawei P10 and 10 other phones. These models will begin open beta testing in early November.
